Replacement spigot for British Berkefeld and Doulton stainless steel filter systems. Handle moves side to side (left to right) to turn the water on and off.
Typically used on the following models, but will also fit all Berkey stainless steel models:

No leaks, good water flow control. I hoped that in the meantime a spigot would be available that offers more water pressure (perhaps larger opening). To fill a gallon of water through the spigot takes a good while. I guess just enough time to sing a jolly song...:-)

I checked a few sites and this was the cheapest and S&H was free! The spigot is a direct replacement for my Berkefeld stainless. Works fine.

We recently had to purchase a new spigot for our Big Berkey. We have only had it 13 years!!!! and have used it everyday since!! What a great product. The new spigot was easy to install and it works better than the old one.

A high quality spigot that doesn't leak, I put it on a thick glass container, it is stubby looking compared to the other Berkey spigot, it matches the look of the glass container. A couple of extra threads would be good.
